Sight At Night
Sight At Night That fug filled night And silent Bhubaneswar I'm walking alone on roof top And enjoying the scenic beauty of nature… I'm not a poet But it's forcing me to be Don't know what Lord Lingaraaj wants May be a magic unseen Far in the greens The flowing water of lake Creating a thought of painting Or an picture freshly taken The dropping dew from sky Looking like falling rain I heard a terrible sound from behind Oh! It's my hard working train The cool breeze touched me With his frozen hands It's becoming colder the surround Moon is playing hide and seek in clouds The smart city is now Beneath the shelter of sleep A new busy morning is waiting for them The trees are whispering "Let's return to room", I thought My face has a heartily smile Mother called me, "O girl! Come inside Now, it's time to sleep. By Seema Samal
